If, in a car you accelerate harshly we all know this uses more fuel than a more gradual and smooth acceleration , with a boiler the same principal applies, and the Vokera Unica starts to heat the central heating solution at a lower power consumption than it's maximum, increasing the amount of power used ever 15 minutes until either the required room temperature is met or the boiler reaches full power. This graduated heat increase saves fuel and therefore money (as well as good for the environment)
